The Ultimate FoodBlog Bucket List: March 🌳

The Ultimate FoodBlog Bucket List: March 🌳

Are you march-ing your way into a month full of flavour? We’re with you, mate. As we always do every month, we’re sharing our FoodBlog Bucket List for March - you know, just your average list of things you can do in Malta if you love food as much as we do. 🤷

Let’s have a look:

Celebrate Pancake Day

The 1st of March in 2022 means only one thing: PANCAKE DAY! This day is usually celebrated on Shrove Tuesday, which changes every year according to Easter. This year, we have come up with a list of places where you can celebrate Pancake Day in Malta. Pick your favourite and DIG IN! 😎

Plan a picnic

March brings the spring season along with it, and what better way to celebrate the spring season than by planning a picnic? Pack some good food, put your sunglasses on, and just have a good time. If you don’t feel like making your own food, check out Diar il-Bniet’s picnic food, The Pura Box, or Pop-Up Picnics for a full-blown picnic experience prepared just for you. 🥪

Dine at the new Sotto

If you haven’t heard the news yet, Sotto has opened a brand new restaurant in St Julian’s. Their delicious pinsa Romana is now available at yet another location in Malta, giving us an excuse to plan a dinner date, whether at their restaurant or at home with a scheduled WOLT delivery. 🛵

Do you prefer picnics or eating at restaurants on sunny days?

Try out Rossopomodoro

Onto more Italian food-related news, a chain restaurant making super authentic Neapolitan-style pizza (and other dishes!) has recently opened its doors in Pjazza Tigne. Rossopomodoro was established in 1998 in Naples, and now, over 20 years later, we’ve got it in Malta! 🍕

Visit a dog-friendly restaurant with your best bud

If you’re a dog owner and you don’t like going out without your pup, you don’t have to. We’ve compiled a list of dog-friendly restaurants that will gladly serve you and your four-legged friends. Check it out here and pick your favourite! 🐶

Have a foodie’s weekend in Gozo

Gozo’s always a good idea, but as the sun starts to shine brighter, travelling to Gozo becomes so much easier. There are so many amazing restaurants in Gozo and we have a few lists for ya:

But obviously, you cannot go to Gozo without visiting Mekren, Maxokk, or the Champions ice-cream truck in front of Arkadia! 😍
