Sotto's Pinsa Romana is coming soon to St Julian's! 🍕
Good news, folks! Pinsa Romana is spreading all over Malta and there's no stopping it. We're definitely not complaining. 👀
Sotto is set to open in St Julian's!
You heard it here first. Fausto Soldini's beloved Sotto Pizzeria from the Zero Sei family will be opening a brand new restaurant in St Julian's, close to Pendergardens. We don’t have an official opening date yet, but we do know that it will be opening in March. 😱
This will be the third Sotto restaurant in Malta, following Valletta and Marsascala, and fifth restaurant that serves pinsa, which means that their pinsa Romana will be able to reach more of Malta! 😍
What makes Sotto so special?
Well, first and foremost, it is the only restaurant in Malta that makes truly authentic pinsa (Roman-style pizza) the way it should be done. 😎
The process includes 72 hours of leavening, four different types of flour, the freshest and best possible ingredients, as well as a whole lot of love, dedication and passion. ❤️
These things also make pinsa different from the usual pizza. It is lighter, easier to digest and more flavourful. 😋
How did Sotto come to Malta?
After taking over Rome and sharing authentic pinsa Romana with the locals, Zero Sei's Fausto Soldini wanted to come to Malta to relax and enjoy life without work. 🏖️
Well, luckily for us, he did come to Malta, but work followed him too. Zero Sei Trattoria Romana opened its doors in Valletta and the Maltese foodies loved it so much that the Zero Sei group expanded and opened different restaurants. ✌️
Fausto Soldini's Zero Sei group now includes Zero Sei Trattoria Romana, Sotto Pizzeria, Prosciutteria, and Casa Sotto. 🤤
