Part 2: 9 Indian restaurants in Malta you need to tuck into 🇮🇳

Part 2: 9 Indian restaurants in Malta you need to tuck into 🇮🇳

We gave you our list of some of our favourite Indian spots on the island, but as usual we thought, why stop there? So here’s Part 2 of where you can get some amazing Indian food, to satisfy those curry cravings. 🍛

Mother India - Mellieha

Mother India is a location where classic Indian doesn’t quite cut it. The dishes are super customisable to ensure that you get exactly what your heart desires, and they offer super creative options such as Eastern-flavoured pizzas and the Naanwich.

Garam Masalaa - Qawra

Garam Masalaa is one of the classics, having opened first in Msida over ten years ago. They later reinvented themselves at their modern Qawa location, where you can have lunch on the terrace overlooking the bay. ☀️

Gandhi Tandoori - St Paul’s Bay

This place is super inclusive with their weekly vegan and gluten-free buffets, along with the regular buffets of course. Gandhi Tandoori is surely one of the best spots for Indian in the North (and there are A LOT of them). 😉

House of Spice - Bugibba

Serving a fusion of South Asian flavours, House of Spice offers Indian, Pakistani and Bangaladeshi dishes that are all super authentic. 🤩

Shiva’s - St Julian’s

This is the place where the heritage of Indian cuisine meets a contemporary setting, with food that looks as good as it tastes. Their menu also comes with a modern and unique twist, and you’re bound to try something new at Shiva’s. 🤗

Saffron - St Julian’s

Saffron is a location with incredible food and a gorgeous dining atmosphere, not to mention ocean views. Named after one of the most integral spices in Indian cuisine, their flavours are sure to always be on point. 👌

Sharma Ethnic Cuisines - St Julian’s

The variety at Sharma is unmatched, with their Indian, Middle Eastern, and North African menus. Located at the Portomaso Marina, the atmosphere is super elegant, and the perfect spot for your next gathering. P.S., they’re currently offering 25% off their menu on delivery orders. 😮

The Everest Food Court - Valletta

Located at the Suq Food Court, this eatery is definitely an underrated spot for authentic flavours. The Everest serves Nepalese cuisine, which is very similar to Indian, and definitely tasty enough to deserve a spot on the list. 🏔️

Su Swagat

This place offers authentic Indian curry that just screams flavour! Su Swagat is in the heart of Bugibba and will steal your heart with its dhal and garlic naan. Grab a portion of each (or maybe make it a double) and watch your sorrows dwindle away!

That’s a wrap for our trip to India! Any places we missed in our top 20 list? Comment down below and let us know of your favourite place to grab a curry 👇
