Located at The Radisson Blu Golden Sands, you’re sure to have dinner with a view at Essense of India, overlooking the stunning Golden Sands Bay. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a sophisticated, ambient experience with vibrant and tasty dishes. 👍
2. Gate of India - St Paul’s Bay
At Gate of India, you’re guaranteed to find what you’re looking for with their super vast menu including loads of vegetarian and vegan options. They even have an all-you-can-eat Indian tapas menu for under €20 per person, so you can sample to your heart’s desire. 💗
3. New Madras - Bugibba
If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant with exceptional and authentic flavours, New Madras is the perfect choice. Chef Patron Vellai Chamy Muthuraman has decades of experience in the Indian cuisine, and brings the flavours of all his culinary experiences to the table. 👨🍳
4. Sapana - Xlendi, Gozo
Sapana is your stop for tasty Indian on the sister island of Gozo, located on the Xlendi seafront. It may be closed at the moment, but it’s sure to be a hit for those Summer Gozo weekends. They’ll be open again in February, so we’ve all got something spicy to look forward to. ☀️
5. TukTuk - Qormi, St Julian’s
If you’re craving some South Indian food but don’t feel like getting off the couch, TukTuk is always there to save the day with incredible food for eat-in at their St Julian's food court spot or delivery to all locations in Malta via their Qormi hub. Their awesome offers such as Curry Mondays and Tandoori Tuesdays are definitely not to be missed. 🇮🇳
6. The Tiffin Box - Sliema, St Julian’s
With two locations in the North, The Tiffin Box is a great place to get your fix of curries, tandoori grills and Indian street food. They use unique spice blends and flavours from every corner of the country, and adopt a unique lunch box concept inspired by Indian culture. ♻️
7. Emperor of India - St Julian’s
Malta’s oldest Indian restaurant is surely an icon - they’ve been serving authentic dishes for over 25 years. Emperor of India is no less one of the best in terms of flavour even now that you can find numerous Indian restaurants across the island.
8. Naan Bar - Valletta
A relatively new joint in the heart of Valletta, led by former MasterChef Finalist Chef Swami Nandan; Naan Bar is perfect if you're looking for something different to your usual Indian meal with their contemporary take on the cuisine and killer cocktail menu. 🍹
9. Shakinah - Ta’ Xbiex
Located on the Ta’ Xbiex seafront, Shakinah never disappoints. This pick may be a more elegant location than your usual Indian grub spots, but the food is so good you’ll want to pick it up with your hands anyway. They're also hot for that takeout option! 🤏
10. Nargile Lounge - Marsascala
Nargile Lounge offers not just Indian but also North African cuisine, with a proper ethnic ambience and speciality chefs - taste and feel what the Middle East is all about at this stunning location. 🤩
