It's Drink Wine Day! Check out these 5 top spots for a wine date 🍷

I’ll never miss out on a good excuse to enjoy a glass of wine and since you’ve opened this article, I know you’re the same. In the mood to wind down with a glass of your favourite red, white or rosé? We’ve got you covered. 💫

When it comes to the perfect place to choose for a wine date, an intimate atmosphere is a must. These 5 amazing spots for a wine date in Malta will have you coming back for more. 😍

Fra Giuseppe Wine Bar

This serene and romantic spot in Balzan is easily one of the best in Malta. Apart from the very private and romantic setting, this place serves some pretty good food that pairs wonderfully with wine. Have a look at Fra Giuseppe’s platters… need we say more? 🤤

Vinum Fontanella Wine Bar

Craving a little wine with a view and post-Valentine’s Day romance? If so, this place is the place to be. Boasting a captivating view of Malta from one of the highest points in Mdina, Vinum has got it all. From a good variety of wines to choose from as well as some delicious food to go with your wine, it’s safe to say that this food is just... wow! 👏🏻

Cafe Cuba

Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot? Yep, Cafe Cuba has it all. This restaurant’s vast menu makes it difficult to not find a wine you’ll like. What’s more, most of their outlets offer quite a scenic view, especially their St Julian’s spot. And if you’d rather enjoy a cocktail, this place has some pretty good options too. 🍷

Sally Port

If you haven't heard of this place, boy are you missing out! Sally Port in Valletta is an excellent spot for a glass or three of wine and a couple more slices of pizza. Check out their Spartacus special pizza where bresaola and Pecorino fall in love, over and over again. Their Lucifero and Regina also absolutely divine.👌

Do you celebrate wine day?

Sea View Cafe

Want to celebreate wine day, but not too keen on the booze? No problem! We’d recommend going to this place for a non-alcoholic vino or possibly a light snack. As a casual cafe, the best thing about Sea View Cafe is by far the fantastic views of Mellieha, Comino and Gozo. And for a good glass of tipsy-free wine in the afternoon, this place is the place to be! 😮
