Black Egg, Ta'Xbiex: A new Brunch Spot is in Town! 🤤
Are you looking for a new spot to sip on your mimosas and feast on a delicious brunch? Well, you’re in luck. A hot new brunch spot will be opening its doors next Tuesday, 17th November! 🎉
The Black Egg will be opening up right in the heart of Ta’ Xbiex, meaning that it’s a central location and getting there could be easy for almost everyone! They will be serving up some killer new concepts, starting with their signature dish - The Black Egg. 🖤
This dish incorporates exactly what the name says: black egg. As you lay your eyes on it, you know that what’s to come is absolute heaven. This is one of the most beautiful dishes we’ve ever seen. It is a gorgeously decorated avocado toast served on crunchy sourdough and topped with smashed avocado, rucola and of course… a poached black egg. Have you ever seen a black egg before? I mean, look at this beauty:
The good things keep on coming with this bruncheria. The bread served here is made by none other than our very own Pink October competition winner: The Good Stuff. If you’ve tasted this bread before, you know that this is the best bread on the island! And if you’re still new to them, what are you waiting for? Just one bite into a loaf from The Good Stuff and you will never go back to regular bread. These guys are sourdough masters - they even make sourdough doughnuts! 🍩
When it’s a combination of talent and good, fresh food, you know that it will hit all the right spots. Their opening hours will be from 11am to 6pm from Tuesday to Thursday, from 11am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 9am to 4pm on Sundays. This means that even if you’re up for a late lunch during the week or dinner at the weekend, this place will still be welcoming you with open arms. 🙌
