Here are 5 of our favourite spots to grab a soup this Winter! 🥣

What’s not to love about soup? It’s soothing, nutritious and the perfect meal for a classic cold winter’s day. While making soups at home is fun and easy, we’re sure you’re dying to know which restaurants make the best soup in Malta. 😋

NAAR RestoBar

Situated near Balluta Bay, this popular restaurant offers good views and a really good bowl o’ soup! NAAR serves up a delicious roasted root vegetable and coconut soup, perfect to go with one of their appetising seafood starters. Intrigued? We know we are! 🥥

Who makes soup better?

Diar il-Bniet

Another fantastic food place for traditional and seasonal Maltese food is none other than Diar il-Bniet. If you like classic Maltese cuisine that tastes fresh, flavourful and very homemade, you can’t not go to this place. Their soup is divine! They also sell Traditional Soup Mix, in case you like their soup so much you’d like to make it right at home. 😉

Kuya Asian Pub

This Asian food place is loved by the majority of Asian food lovers in Malta, and we totally get why! If you’re craving a Thai-themed sweet and spicy soup, Kuya’s Thai coconut soup - Tom Kha Soup - will surely do the trick. Go ahead and try it, you won’t regret it! 🤩

Wagamama

For another Asian-inspired feast, Wagamama always seems to satisfy that soup craving… even if there's more noodles and good stuff than broth! Still counts right? Whether it’s a side Miso Soup or a deep bowl of Ramen you’re slurping away at, add a few extra bits to your order, you won’t regret it! 🍜

Bacchus

Bacchus Restaurant in Mdina serves a fantastic aljotta (fish soup). This type of soup is fresh, light and ideal for anyone who loves any type of meat to be included in their soup. If you’re going to eat one of Malta’s traditional soups, you might as well eat it in Mdina! 🐟
