What’s up, food fam? I’m sure a lot of you are absolutely bonkers over sushi. Well, it’s your lucky day! Today is World Sushi Day, and we cannot go without celebrating this special day now, can we? Check out these amazing spots for sushi in Malta! 😎

Shatt

This place is located right at Tigne seafront (or, ix-Xatt), and it serves some of the most appetising sushi on the island. Grab your favourite roll from Shatt and dig in while enjoying the sea view! ⛵



Zen Sushi

Zen Sushi is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of sushi in Malta. But their sushi is so fresh and delicious, we don’t blame you! 🤩



Wagyu

Whether it’s Wagyu Bar & Kitchen or Wagyu to Go, the sushi they serve here is definitely one of my favourites. Super flavourful! 🍣



Okurama

Who doesn’t love an Okurama feast? I love the food at Okurama, but the sushi is probably my favourite out of everything! 😋



Obi Japanese Fusion

This newly opened restaurant is taking the food scene by storm! The sushi at Obi Japanese Fusion in St Julian’s is definitely one to look out for. 😏

Wasabi Sushi

Serving some great sushi platters along with a number of other Japanese dishes, Wasabi Sushi is definitely a good place to get your sushi cravings sorted. You can find them at The Plaza Food Hall or at the Valletta Waterfront! 👌

This place is a sushi classic. Club Sushi offers a mix of Korean and Japanese dishes, and some of the best sushi in Malta! 💪



Doma

Looking for an authentic Korean spot? Doma in Sliema or Marsascala is definitely the place you need to check out. Their food is super tasty, including their sushi! 🤤



Marea

Being a person who lives in the south of Malta, I was ecstatic when Marea opened its doors in Kalkara and started serving sushi, along with a number of other delicious dishes. Their food is amazing and the ambience is so unique! 😍



Aki

This gorgeously modern restaurant in Valletta is known for providing a unique culinary experience. If you want some extraordinary sushi (and other incredible dishes!), give Aki a go. 😌



Genki Asian Cafe

This place can be found in Msida or at the Carob Tree food court in Spinola. Genki Asian Cafe serves delicious, refreshing sushi and a number of other yummy Asian dishes!
