Hey Peanut Butter Lovers! Check out these joints for your PB fix 👀

Did you know that tomorrow is Peanut Butter Day? Millions of people around the world go nuts for peanut butter, and if you’re one of them, this day is perfect for you. This nutty spread has made its way to a number of dishes, whether sweet or savoury. If you want to celebrate Peanut Butter day in style, here are some mouth-watering PB creations that you can get around the island 🥜

Peanut Butter and Banana Bread - Danny’s

Baryn may want to get rid of banana bread this year, but can we really ever get enough of Danny’s Peanut Butter and Banana Bread? Pair it with their Roasted Coconut and Peanut Butter Smoothie for the ultimate peanut butter celebration. 🎉

Peanut Nutter - Manouche

The Peanut Nutter is a cookie or biscuit (whichever part of the world you’re from) sandwich with a creamy peanut butter centre. If that doesn’t already get you drooling, pair it with Manouche’s delicious Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate for the perfect combo. 😍

Protein Crepe - Krepree

Peanut butter is known for its health benefits and protein content, so if you’re looking to pump it up, bite into the Protein Crepe from Krepree, with crunchy peanut butter, banana, and honey. Isn’t that a killer combination? 💪

The Twisted PB&J Burger - Supernova Heights

We’re talking crunchy peanut butter combined with bourbon bacon jam made inhouse and sliced gherkins for an extra tang. This combination by Supernova Heights is out of this world! 🍔

Sweet French Toast - Crust

As part of their brunch menu, Crust has a stunning Sweet French Toast, made with peanut butter, fresh strawberry jam, and bananas. So if you’re looking to celebrate Peanut Butter Day with brunch, this will hit all the right spots. 👌

Gai Sate Tod - Sabai Jai Thai

This dish is part of the appetizers at Sabai Jai Thai in Marsascala. It consists of deep fried chicken pieces in a gorgeous peanut butter sauce. If you were looking for an excuse to go for a Thai dinner, I think this would be the perfect one! 😉

Hershey’s Peanut Butter Donut AND Peanut Butter & Jelly Donut - Donut Empire

We were super stoked when this donut joint opened up in Birkirkara, mainly because their donuts are AMAZING and you can get them at ANY hour of the day - they’re open 24/7! Both the Hershey’s Peanut Butter Donut and the Peanut Butter & Jelly Donut from Donut Empire are filled donuts, so you’ll get heaps of creamy peanut butter inside. 💛

Do you like peanut butter?

If you’re not that much of a fan of peanut butter but you prefer an acidic kick in your nutty dish, you can always make room for some satay. There are some killer satay dishes you can try, but here’s two of our favourites: ✌️

Raika Roll - Zen Sushi

This sushi roll at Zen Sushi to Go incorporates a gorgeous mixture of satay sauce, satay mayo and crushed salted peanuts. All of these are the perfect accompaniment to the tender chicken pieces inside. Perfect excuse to go for a sushi date. 🍣

Beef in Satay Sauce - Nan Yuan

This is probably one of my favourite Asian dishes of all time. The tangy sauce and the crunchy peanut pieces are just bomb. But then again, anything at Nan Yuan is just delicious. You can also have the Chicken in Satay Sauce or else the Satay Chicken or Satay Beef strips from the Hors D’Oeuvres section. 🍢

Have you ever tried making your own peanut butter?

It’s one of the easiest things you can do and you’ll be 100% sure that there aren’t any nasty additives to your nut spread. All you need is salted, roasted peanuts and a food processor (yes, that’s really it). 🤷

Place the peanuts in the food processor and pulse until you get small pieces, then process until it reaches a buttery consistency. The peanuts will release their natural oils, which is why they turn into a creamy butter when processed. 😏

How will you be celebrating Peanut Butter Day tomorrow? Snap some shots of your favourite peanut butter dishes and share them with us! You can find us on Instagram or Facebook - we’re always ready to receive some drool-worthy content. 🤤
