Fresh Pasta Alert Foodies: A Fasta of Flavours ππ

Pasta lovers, rejoice! A brand new pasta concept has landed on the Maltese Islands and we couldn't be more excited about this. Fasta opened its doors just around a month ago and they've been wowing us ever since. π€―

The Pappardelle Pork Ribs.
An Italian Pasta Party like no other
Just like nobody can beat the Maltese at making pastizzi or ftajjar, no one can beat the Italians at making pasta. Having an Italian Head Chef, Fasta is an all-genuine, all-homemade pasta joint with a large selection of choices. π

What an awesome selection of pasta, right?
When it comes to the pasta itself, you can have tagliatelle, maccheroni, fusilli, casarecce, pappardelle, gigli, or even their stunning, perfectly-looking fresh ravioli. If that's not already a bit of a difficult choice to make, their awesome sauces will definitely not make it easier for you. Which one will you pick? π€

The freshest carbo youβll ever taste!
I'm crazy for Carbonara...
I mean, let's start with a nation-wide favourite: the Carbonara. The sauce is so beautifully rich and creamy (in texture! There is obviously no actual cream here). The guanciale is perfectly cooked and the pasta shape is just right because it is able to pick up enough sauce for you to have a good balance of flavour in your mouth. Just have a look at FoodBlog's reel below and you'll see what I mean. π€€
...But don't mind if I 'Nduja...
The 'Nduja e Mascarpone is another one of Fasta's genius creations. The kick of the 'Nduja sausage is balanced by the creaminess of the mascarpone and everything is simply wow. π

SUPER FRESH STUFF.
...Cacio e Pepe keeps me grounded...
Cacio e Pepe is also becoming more and more popular on the island and Fasta sure knows how to make a damn good one! Cheesy, creamy, peppery and absolutely wonderful. π

Cacio e Pepe goals, or what?
...And I'm always rooting for Ravioli
Ravioli are good, but they're so much better when they're fresh and even better when they're from Fasta. You can choose the Ricotta Spinach Sage Butter if you want to keep it normal or the Burrata Truffle if you want to kick things up a notch. Either way, good luck trying not to lick your plate clean. π€·

Iβm drooling!
And MORE!
If none of these suit your taste buds (if that is actually possible), Fasta won't leave you hanging. Whether it's bolognese, 4 cheese, rabbit ragu, pesto, walnut pesto or pork ribs sauce, your body will thank you for feeding it this level of goodness. They even make their desserts in-house! I mean, check out this gorgeous Tiramisu! π

DAMN, SON.
You can now dine in!
Up until now, this gorgeous pasta has only been available for takeaway, but Fasta has recently opened up a small dining area right upstairs, which they named Fasta Tavola. This gorgeous little space gives you beautiful trattoria vibes with Maltese-style decor (including the beloved Maltese tiles). Seating is limited though, so you better get booking! π
This new space comes with a killer menu which includes starters, high-end pasta dishes, a selection of wines and a guaranteed high level of satisfaction. It's perfect for a quick lunch of top quality! As from the 27th of May, you will also be able to have a chill meal and a gorgeous glass of wine for dinner at Fasta. Have you marked that date in your calendar? π

Isn't this a gorgeous setting?
Want to make their pasta at home? Pasta Kits are the answer
If you'd rather stay indoors, you can still get your fresh pasta kits from Fasta through Bolt Food or WOLT. Yes, they actually make pasta kits so you can enjoy a freshly-cooked meal at home. It doesnβt matter if youβre not the best cook. These bad boys come with instructions!

Ready to impress?
They have a variety of pasta kits to choose from, all of which include Fasta's freshly-made pasta, the homemade sauce, and obviously, some grated cheese (because what is pasta without cheese?). π§

Thereβs no party like a pasta party.
Have you tried this place out yet? If so, let us know what you think and show us what you ordered in the comments. If you haven't been to Fasta yet, for the love of pasta, make sure you give them a visit! π€©
