Donut Worry! It’s Donut Day & these are the Top Donut Places in Malta 🍩

If you needed an excuse to go get yourself a donut, here it is: today is Donut Day! 😍

We’re so blessed to have so many donut spots around Malta. When you’re craving something sweet, you’re bound to run into a donut shop if you go for a drive around the island (even if you stay home and open your Bolt Food or WOLT app). 🤷

Here’s where you can get a top-notch donut in Malta: 👇

Donut Empire

These guys might have been open for a little less than a year, but they have surely made a name for themselves. 👌

Donut Empire have a never-ending choice of donuts and they’re all super scrumptious. Check out their outlets in Birkirkara and Birzebbugia! 🍩

Dolci Creazioni

Ever since I’ve heard about this place I’ve been dreaming of their donuts! The donuts from Dolci Creazioni don’t just have toppings, but they are also sliced through and filled with cream all throughout. 🤤

You can get both the modern-style donuts from here or the traditional Maltese ones. ✌️

Crust

You’d never think that a bar and bistro in St Julian’s would make such yummy donuts. They have 10 different options to choose from and I’m pretty sure you’ll keep going back until you’ve tasted each one. 👀

Crust’s donuts are soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. 😋

Which donuts do you prefer?

Shakes n Bakes

Shakes n Bakes doesn’t just serve awesome burgers and pizza, they also have killer donuts. Their flavour combos are super - Nutella and white chocolate Kinder, white chocolate and Flake, and even white chocolate and Lucky Charms! 🤩

Their donuts can be found in all of their locations, whether it’s from their outlet in San Gwann, the one in Gzira, or their cafe in Msida. 💪

Danny’s

Let’s be honest, anything you get from Danny’s is delicious and their donuts are obviously nothing less. 🤷

You can choose from three flavours: strawberry jam, toffee, or Nutella. If you’re a donut lover, do-nut miss out on these bad boys. 😎

Ferdinand’s Burger Bar

This Siggiewi joint is known for its burgers, but their donuts definitely deserve a shout-out. They might not be the traditional round shape, but that doesn’t impact the flavour. 🙅

Ferdinand’s Burger Bar’s long donuts are just what you need if you’re looking for a yummy dessert. 😌

Bonus: Tad-Doughnuts (ta’ Hal-Qormi) for the traditional Maltese donuts

Every local knows that awesome Maltese donuts are found in Qormi. If you prefer the traditional Maltese-style donuts to the modern ones, Tad-Doughnuts will get your cravings sorted. 👌

The deep-fried dough with crunchy sugar and either jam or chocolate in the centre has always been an important part of a Maltese person’s childhood, am I right? 🤣
