Have a sweet Christmas: 10 dessert recipes for the holiday season ☃️

It’s my favourite time of the year! Christmas is almost here and this holiday season brings about a good excuse to indulge in your favourite treats (not that we need an excuse). We’ve made a list of some of our favourite recipes for Christmas treats, and we obviously couldn’t wait to share them with you. 🥳

S’mores Bark

If you love the gooey marshmallow texture paired with sweet chocolate and crunchy biscuits, then Tasty’s S’mores Bark is perfect for you. It only requires 4 ingredients and it is super easy to make! 🍪

(P.S the American graham crackers are equivalent to the European digestive biscuits.)

Chocolate Trifle

Trifle is one of Britain’s greatest desserts and it is quite popular during the holiday season. Jamie Oliver’s Epic Chocolate Trifle is a gorgeous twist on the traditional trifle that will keep you wanting more. This is not the easiest dessert to make, but if you have some time on your hands, it is definitely worth it. 🍫

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Any Potterhead out there will love this. Sticky Toffee Pudding is Harry Potter’s favourite dessert, so I obviously could not leave this one out. This recipe by The Spruce Eats is only suitable for those who can handle sweetness. The thick toffee sauce over the rich sponge is the perfect combination. ⚡️

French Buche de Noel

The Buche de Noel is one of the traditional dishes that are served in France during Christmas time. A light, fluffy sponge covered with rich chocolate buttercream will take your taste buds to seventh heaven. The Spruce Eats give a great step-by-step guide for you to make the perfect Buche de Noel for Christmas. 😋

Gingerbread Chocolate Truffles

Easy to snack on and perfect for sharing (but obviously, you can eat them all on your own - we won’t judge!). Tasty’s Gingerbread Chocolate Truffles only need 5 ingredients to be made and can be done in just a few steps. 🤤

Mini Gingerbread Cheesecakes

These mini cheesecakes are not just super cute, but also super delicious. Nothing says Christmas like gingerbread, so having it in a mini cheesecake is just holiday goodness. Try these Mini Gingerbread Cheesecakes by Tasty. 🍰

Mint Chocolate Snowman Ritz Pops

This recipe is a great combination of salty and sweet. Tasty’s Mint Chocolate Snowman Ritz Pops incorporate salty, crunchy Ritz crackers paired with sweet white chocolate and a bit of zing from the mint. Not only are they delicious, but they’re also a great treat to make with the kiddos. You can substitute the orange gel chocolate with orange Smarties, the black gel frosting with chocolate chips, and even choose to leave out the mint extract if you’re not a fan. ⛄️

Giant Cinnamon Roll

What’s better than a cinnamon roll? A giant cinnamon roll cake. This is yet another recipe from Tasty and it will fill your house with a beautiful cinnamon smell. You can do this anytime of year, really, but a warm roll, cinnamon spice, and creamy frosting will warm you right up on a cold winter night. 🥶

Christmas Tree Brownies

These absolutely gorgeous Christmas Tree Brownies by The Spruce Eats are almost too pretty to eat! But who can resist a delicious brownie? They’re quite easy to make and even if you won’t be having guests at home this year (thanks, Corona), they’ll make you feel merry and bright. 🎄

British Christmas Pudding

Christmas isn’t Christmas without traditional Christmas pudding for the Brits. This is typically made with a mix of dried fruit, spices, and alcohol, among other things. The Spruce Eats have an amazing recipe for this and every ingredient can be found in any supermarket. 🥳
