Rafel Sammut & Romeo Giacomotto cook for opera stars Bocelli & Calleja🎶
Local chef Rafel Samut has become a household name in recent years. From his work setting up the Victory Kitchen with the Briju team to now privately preparing a homecooked meal for the Italian Opera icon Andrea Bocelli at the residence of the Maltese Tenor, Joseph Calleja.
The guest of honour even went as far as to bless the diners with his flavourful tone. 🎶
Chef Rafel has seen his team soar to new heights after Gzira restaurant Briju made it onto the Michelin Guide for 2020, the first time Malta has been listed in the prestigious collection. 🏅
Rafel also headed to Lebanon earlier this year to help feed the homeless after an explosion in Beirut saw thousands in crisis. 🙏
Serving a private dining experience to the Maltese Tenor and Andrea Bocelli will now be another one of Chef Rafel's many accolades he can reflect on. 💪
