Meatball Mania: a new Meatball Joint has landed in Malta! 😲
Meatball lovers, listen up! Your prayers are being listened to and your dreams are coming true. A new meatball place has just opened up in Msida! This actually might just be the first ever eatery dedicated solely to meatballs. The Meatball Guys are here to blow your mind. 🤯
Not just your average meatballs…
When you think of meatballs, you might think of the usual minced beef/pork mix in some marinara sauce. Well, this place looks like it’s going to be so much more. To start with, you can pick from 4 different balls (because one of them isn’t meat - they have meat-free options too!). 🥑
You can choose either beef, chicken, horse, or avocado. Yes, you read that right, HORSE. We all know that horse meat is super popular in Malta, so they’re just trying to steal our hearts with this one. Once you choose your preferred meatballs, you can either have them as an appetizer as a box of 5 or a mixed box of 6, or have them as a sandwich. 😋
Super Meatball Sandwiches
Since it’s not your average meatball, it’s not your average sandwich either. From the Peanut Butcher (with peanut butter cream), to the Carboner (with carbonara cream), to the Beastachio (with pistachio di Bronte cream), creativity is flying high here! There’s also the Vegetaball, which can either be a play on the word ‘vegetable’ or a nudge to the Dragon Ball character (whoever grew up watching that show will understand). 🤷
You can also add a sauce and upgrade your sandwich to a meal by choosing your favourite fries - you’ll even get a free soft drink! You cannot forget dessert either - will it be the Polpettamisu or the Nutella and Coconut Truffles? 🤤
You could say these guys are balls-y!
Last year was not an easy year for anyone, and this year does not seem to be any better, but these guys won’t let anything stop them. It might have taken them a year to open up their first store, but their concept is still unique to the Maltese islands. 💪
The Meatball Guys are two Italian guys who just want to share their love of meatballs with the Maltese folks. And we’re super thankful for that. We cannot wait to order our delivery - they're on both WOLT and Bolt Food! 😍
