How about a round of Tesla Tequila? Finally… a Tesla we can afford 🥃
Elon Musk, founder of Paypal, SpaceX and Tesla has just launched a product which you can actually afford as a Christmas present (maybe). This just proves, more and more, that in 2020 'anything can happen'. 🤷
1st April 2018 Elon Musk decided to play along with an April Fool Prank by posting a photo on Twitter surrounded by Tesla tequila bottles claiming that Tesla had gone completely bankrupt.
Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by "Teslaquilla" bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks.

Six months later he filed for an application for a trademark and US patent on the bottle and name “Teslaquilla ”. Two years later Elon Musk launched Tesla Tequila which is a new and simpler name for the product which costs $250 and was sold out within hours on the official website. 😱
This lighting shaped bottle is produced by Nosotros Tequila and was only available to certain states in the US with a limited order of 2 bottles. ⚡
For a company that is known for electric vehicles, Elon Musk has just proved to the world the strength of his brand name, he managed to sell out a new product in a new industry with buyers not knowing the taste or quality of the product and with minimal to zero marketing and advertising. 👍
