Burger King UK uniting fast-food chains through COVID 🤜🍔🤛
If you’ve been alive in the last 50 years or so, you know that Burger King and McDonald’s have always had an ongoing rivalry. But could it be that the tables are turning? Along with a number of other unexpected things that the coronavirus pandemic has brought with it, it might bring about a sense of solidarity between the two brands.

COVID-19 has forced restaurants and local businesses to close down in an attempt to reduce the ever-growing numbers of coronavirus cases. This means that the main source of income for these business owners has basically disappeared.
In an effort to urge people to support local businesses, Burger King UK is encouraging everyone to make use of delivery or takeaway services. Isn’t that amazing? People will be enjoying a delicious meal while in turn, the jobs of millions of employees and the source of income for a massive number of families will be safeguarded. Not such a bad deal, right?
