Some of the Best Movember Food Campaigns in 2020 👏

Some of the Best Movember Food Campaigns in 2020 👏

It’s that time of the year when beards are shaven off and moustaches are left to grow to raise awareness for men’s health, mainly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention. This time round, two of our favourite food brands joined the cause.

One of these brands is an all-time favourite fried chicken brand. KFC is going for a clean-shaven look for the month of November to raise awareness for Movember. The famous Colonel Sanders, who is known for his moustache and goatee, started the month of November barefaced. The rules of Movember are that men start November clean shaven and let their moustaches grow for the entire month, and Colonel Sanders is abiding by those rules.

KFC France launched the campaign on the first day of November by updating their logo as well as their packaging and bags with the new logo. This change aims to encourage KFC’s customers to support Movember and raise awareness about men’s health.

Another one of our favourite brands, Pringles, has partnered up with Movember in the UK to help raise awareness about men’s health. Their main aim is to encourage people to talk about their issues through their ‘Pop, Share, Chat’ campaign.

Will you be sporting a stache this Movember?

We all know how Pringles frequently advertises social connections. Whether it’s two friends having a chat, a couple sharing a tube of Pringles, or a group of friends snacking on Pringles at a party, this popular snack manages to show up everywhere. This time round, they are encouraging the same socialising aspect, but pushing for people to have more open conversations about their mental health. This is the first time that Pringles has supported a charitable cause in the UK and they will be donating a minimum of £75,000 to Movember Europe.

Movember started back in 2003 when Travis Garone and Luke Slattery started chatting about the idea in Melbourne. It is now a global movement that has gained a lot of popularity from a number of brands.
