The best kind of news is when one of your favourite local eateries opens up a new joint. So we’re obviously ecstatic about Avotaco’s latest news: they’re opening their second location in Mriehel on the 23rd of this month! 🥳
This local Mexican joint has grown super popular since they first started out as a food truck in 2018. Serving some killer tacos, burritos, nachos, and quesadillas, their menu caters for all: vegetarians, vegans, meat-lovers, and even the little ones. 🌮
If you’re cutting down on carbs, you can also get your burrito in a naked version. That means that the gorgeous fillings are not encased in the flour tortilla, but they are enjoying their freedom on your plate - until you devour them. The naked burritos are a super flavourful alternative to the usual salad. Avotaco is also one of the VERY few eateries in Malta that serves chimichangas - a deep-fried burrito drenched in sauce. 🌯
Even though their second location is not exactly in the south (it’s ok, my fellow southerners, we’ll get our own one day), having a second location means that they will cover more areas for delivery. We’re also hoping to see some new additions to their stunning menu! 🤞
