Easter Dilemma? Here’s what to do in Malta this Easter Weekend! 🐰

Easter Dilemma? Here’s what to do in Malta this Easter Weekend! 🐰

It’s the first ‘normal’ Easter in Malta (with the least amount of restrictions) since 2019! Processions, celebrations, lunches, dinners - they’re all back for us to enjoy. But if you’re looking to make this Easter egg-stra special by doing something different, here’s what we have in mind! 😎

Switch islands

If you’re in Malta, head over to Gozo, and if you’re in Gozo, head over to Malta! Grab a pizza from one of your favourite pizza places on the island, head over to Mixta Cave in Gozo or Top of the World in Malta, and dine with a view. Just remember to clean up after yourself! 🍕

Try your luck for a voucher at The Plaza

For Easter Saturday only, The Plaza will be giving out a little surprise with every €20 purchase - a yummy little treat and possibly even a voucher! You can go for some shopping as well as a delicious meal, coffee, juice AND dessert at The Plaza Food Hall. 🤩

Are you switching it up this Easter?

Go for a picnic

Ta’ Qali, Buskett, Wied iz-Zurrieq - wherever your go-to picnic spot is, the Easter weekend is the perfect time to plan a picnic. Don’t forget to pack the essentials: sandwiches, pasta salads, dips, galletti, snacks, drinks… and an empty stomach! 😋

Go to the movies

Pick a movie, book your tickets, and obviously, grab some nachos and popcorn! Yes, I say “and”, because salty popcorn dipped in nacho cheese is LIFE. 🤤

Have a barbeque

Weather permitting, of course, this would be a great way to celebrate Easter and start the BBQ season. The classics can never be excluded here: pink sausages, Maltese sausages, garlic bread, and so much more food than you actually need. Just make sure that if you’re outside, you’re in an area that allows barbeques and that you don’t leave a mess behind! 👀

What are your plans for this Easter weekend? Will you be doing anything from this list? Let us know in the comments! 🐰
