Looking for some #foodporn? Check out these foodies on Instagram 📸

Oftentimes I find myself scrolling through Instagram late at night, looking at some of the most gorgeous photos of food. Working at FoodBlog means that I get to do this often, and it’s just one of the many perks. I’m always looking for some foodie inspiration, and apart from that, I just love looking at pictures of food, even though I prefer having the actual food right in front of me... 👀

There are a lot of foodies on Instagram who have some great food content on their feed, so, in no particular order, here are some of my favourites:

@raffadi

If you’re looking for foodporn with a twist, follow this woman on Instagram. Saying that she is talented is an understatement. Not only does she share her accomplishments, but she also shares her struggles in the kitchen, which helps us remember that even the best of cooks may find some trouble sometimes. Her recipes are super unique, ranging from Asian, to Italian, and even Maltese - whatever it is, she can cook it! 😎

@apronandwhisk

Focusing on Mediterranean and Maltese recipes, Yesenia is a fellow Malteser who moved to Luxembourg. She develops her own recipes, and lucky for us, she shares them on her beautiful blog. Whether it’s appetizers, main courses, desserts, or snacks, you’ll find some amazing recipes in her blog. ❤️

@owen.cooks.eats

Here’s another Malteser who is based overseas. This guy shares his love for food and home cooking through photos, stories, live stories, and informative episodes on IGTV. In these episodes, which usually feature other foodies, he discusses anything related to food: different cuisines, food photography, restaurants, recipes, and so on. The best part is that his recipes are from all over the world. 🌍

@yakof_debono

Having published his brand new website towards the end of last January, Yakof’s recipes focus on a gorgeous twist on the local cuisine. We’re talking sushi with bigilla, pastizz layered pie, pulled rabbit bao buns, and even gbejniet nuggets. If that doesn’t scream unique, I don’t know what does. 😍

@plantful_ina

If you’re looking for some vegan foodporn, this woman is the queen of just that. Even if you’re not vegan, her recipes are amazing! I used to look at tofu and think “gross”, but after following her blog, I tried one of her recipes and it is now one of my favourite ingredients. She launched her website AND first e-book last February and she’s killing it in the foodie scene. 💪

@stephen_la_rosa

This guy is a popular chef that has worked in a number of restaurants around the world, so he definitely knows his way around food. He is also a culinary consultant and shares awesome recipes and great tips and tricks on his feed. 👌

@rodysheartycorner

Looking for homey and hearty food that is also healthy and delicious? This is for you! This local foodie focuses on recipes that are healthy, paleo, or vegan, and makes sure that she uses the freshest of ingredients. Her bigilla recipe is my favourite bigilla recipe ever. 😋

@cheatfoodofficial

If you haven’t had a look at this blog yet, you’re seriously missing out! The recipes are unlike any other and they’re always presented beautifully. A lot of times there’s a Maltese twist to the recipes, like the Mac Hobza (a Big Mac with a Maltese hobza), the Twistees Chicken Fingers, or the Tarjancini (arancini made with tarja). Drool-worthy! 🤤

Do you have any other favourite foodies that you think should be on this list? Let me know! I’m always looking for some food-spiration and killer content. If you’re not following us on Instagram yet, just head over here and tap on follow (warning: you might get hungry).
