Long weekend coming up? Here's what to do in Malta! π€©

The time has come for yet another midweek public holiday in Malta, and I couldn't be more grateful for this mini-break. If you've extended this mini-break into a full-blown 5 day-long weekend, you might want to look for some things to do. π€·
As always, we've got you sorted! Here's what you can do if you've got a long weekend in Malta ahead of you. π
Head over to Comino
The sun is scorching and one way to beat the heat is to head over to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Pack some food, slap on some sunscreen and have a blast! ποΈ
Eat at The Plaza Food Hall
If, like me, you're one to look for places with an AC instead of staying outside, give The Plaza a visit. Their food hall has a number of outlets you can eat at, including international ones! Who can say no to good food and AC in this heat? π₯΅
Have a Gozo day
Want to spend your days outside instead? Hop on the ferry (or not if you already live in Gozo π€·) and enjoy a classic Gozitan pizza from Maxokk or Mekren, followed by an incredible ice-cream from the Champions ice-cream truck. It doesn't get any better than that. π
Try out a new restaurant
Do you have a list of restaurants you want to visit that seems to be getting longer instead of shorter? It's time to take one of them off your list! If you cannot choose, just put the names in an online random name picker and let that do the work for you. Or, better yet, head over to our Restaurants page. π
Have a Netflix & food day
Here's another one for those of you who love the indoors as much as I do. Order your favourite takeout to save the hassle of cooking, find a good movie or series on Netflix (or whatever you use), and simply enjoy some peace time. π
Have a classic 'Day by the Pool'
You know the ones I'm referring to! Find the best 'Day By The Pool' deal for you (one that includes food, of course) and have a relaxing day with good food, cocktails and some sunshine. π
Have you got any different plans for this week? Let us know in the comments! I'm sure they involve food in one way or another. π
