Happy Sandwich Day! Check Out The Top 7 Sandwich Spots in Malta 🥪

We all have those days when all we really need is a fully loaded sandwich to satisfy our carb cravings. It fills you up, makes you happy and leaves you super satisfied. 😌

Today is a day to celebrate all that; it’s Sandwich Day! We’ve got some killer sandwich spots in Malta so let’s see where we can all get our fix on this extra special day. 👇

Prosciutteria

This place is part of Fausto Soldini’s Zero Sei Group. They are known for their delicious, traditional Italian food, especially the Pinsa Romana. 👌

Prosciutteria in Gzira also serves some top-notch sandwiches for lunch, like the Pino il Panino, which is a carbonara sandwich, Il Cremoso, with mortadella and burrata, and La Leggenda, with salami and smoked cheese. 🧀

EAT

All the smoked meat goodness you can get in Malta can be found at EAT. This beautiful food truck serves some of the most amazing sandwiches you’ll ever taste. 🥪

The Pork Belly Pastrami and the Philly Cheese Steak are definitely must-tries, but if you’re lucky enough to find the Beef Rib as a Friday special, you HAVE to try that out. 😋

Sciacca Express

This spot in Paceville is another awesome one for smoked meats. Sciacca Grill opened up this joint earlier this year and their menu is top! ✌️

From the Chicken Brioche to the Duck or Rabbit Baguette to the Smoked Brisket Ciabatta, you’ll be drooling before you reach their outlet. 🤤

Do you prefer a simple sandwich or a loaded one?

The Meatball Guys

Meatball sandwiches? Yes, please! Think of all those meatball sandwiches that you’ve seen in movies and thought, “that looks too good to be true”. 🤔

Well, the sandwiches made by The Meatball Guys are just like that, but real. They’re gorgeous and absolutely mouth-watering. The Joey Tribbiani in all of us is screaming with joy. 😍

Rocky's

If you’re looking for a KILLER ftira that’s packed with flavour, get yourself one from Rocky’s Authentic Ftira Joint. 👈

Whether you’re ordering a traditional Maltese ftira or one of their top ones, like The Italian Stallion or The Popeye, you need to try this place out. 💪

Grano

This Valletta spot is a must-try for sandwiches. You can get a sandwich in the form of ftira, bagel, or even multigrain, if you’re looking for a healthier option. 🥖

Grano’s sandwiches are beautifully built and taste even better. Doesn’t munching on a Brontese ftira in the streets of Malta’s capital city sound fantastic? 🤩

Tre Pale

This fairly new kid on the block is already impressing us all. Tre Pale is located at The Plaza in Sliema and it is the place to be for stunning Italian sandwiches. 🥪

The sandwiches are gorgeous, delicious, and let's just say they'll definitely fill you up. 👀
