Make your Mocktail at Home! We have 5 EASY Recipes for you to try out!🍹

It’s often easy to forget that many people don’t drink alcohol - but we can’t just let them miss out on the fun of cocktails. Mocktails aren’t just for kids, and they can be super tasty if you know how to make them. Here are 5 awesome mocktail recipes that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home, and serve to kids and adults alike. 😋



Blackberry Virgin Mojito

Fruity, minty mojitos are always a great pick for mocktails, because they pack enough freshness and flavour without the added booze. 🌿

For the mint syrup:

  • ½ cup packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

For the mojito:

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 teaspoon. granulated sugar
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • Ice
  • 2 cans soda water
  • Fresh mint, for garnish


Watermelon Margarita Mocktails 

It’s always nice to sip on drinks all day and not wake up with a headache. 💁 Here’s your grocery list for watermelon margarita mocktails.

For the simple syrup: 

  • 1 cup water 
  • 1 cup sugar

For the mocktails:

  • 1 cup cubed watermelon 
  • ½ cup simple syrup
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice 
  • Limes for garnish 
  • Pink Himalayan salt for garnish
  • Ice


Orange-Mango Crush 

If you want your drink to give off a tropical vibe, this one is perfect for you. 🥭

To make it, you’ll need:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 4 scoops lemon sorbet
  • 2 cups chilled mango nectar
  • 2 cups chilled soda water
  • Crushed ice, to serve
  • Orange slices, to serve


Chile Lime Pineapple Soda

With a spicy element that compliments the pineapple juice so well, this one’s got a kick to it that the adventurous should definitely try. 🌶 

The ingredients: 

  • 1 tablespoon pink peppercorns
  • 1 lime, plus wedges for serving
  • 2 dried chiles de árbol (regular long chillies), plus crushed for serving
  • Fresh pineapple juice
  • Sugar
  • Pinch of Kosher salt
  • Club soda 
  • Sparking water to fill jug
  • Strawberries or mint to garnish


Citrus Peach Cooler 

This refreshing summer-y drink is perfect for daytime sipping. ☀️

Here’s what you’ll need to make it: 

  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • Ice cubes 
  • Peach nectar or peach juice 
  • Cloudy lemonade

The best thing about the drinks at Hugo’s is that Happy Hour starts at 1pm every day, and goes on till closing time on Wednesdays, 7pm on Sundays, and 6pm the rest of the week. That’s a tonne of hours to grab your 2 for 1. 😉

Just like with their food, Hammett’s is super original with their drinks, sporting flavours you won’t find anywhere else: The White Mule (coconut milk, mango purée, lime juice, lemongrass syrup, ginger beer), White Mule Asian Ice Tea (thai basil, ginger & lime infused matcha tea) and the Dragon Fruit Faujito (dragon fruit purée, agave syrup, fresh lime, mint, soda) are options you can expect to find at this Asian-fusion eatery. 🍹
