Autumn Cocktails for chilly November days 🍸

Autumn Cocktails for chilly November days 🍸

Just because we can’t go out and get drunk with friends, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it alone in the comfort of our homes. 🤷

Jokes aside, making cocktails is a fun activity and adds a splash of excitement to your weekend, especially if paired with the right meal. So read on for some awesome cocktails with autumnal flavours that are sure to be a hit.

Apple Cider Mimosas

What better pairing to your lazy morning brunch than a mimosa? The original flavours have more of a warm-weather feel to them, so mix it up by making apples the star of the show. 🍎

Ingredients: sugar, cinnamon, apple cider, and champagne.

Apple Brandy Negroni

Commonly known as Mela D’Alba, this rich drink is not for the light-hearted. It’s just what you should be sipping on this November (and possibly the rest of the year). 🥃

Ingredients: apple brandy, sweet vermouth, Campari, lemon peel

Want to make it at home? Here’s the recipe

Fall Sangria

This drink is another autumny take on a classic. Fruity red wine is replaced with dry white, and fall flavours like pomegranate and cinnamon seal the deal. 🍐

Ingredients: green tea, pomegranate juice, brandy, gin, cinnamon syrup, dry white wine, apple, pear, orange, cinnamon sticks, and club soda

Recipe? Sure.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian

You can’t possibly make a list of autumn cocktails without including at least one pumpkin-spice flavoured drink. 🎃

Ingredients: vodka, pumpkin spice creamer, coffee liquor, whipped cream, pumpkin spice mix

The Deathly Hallows

Halloween may be over, but as long as it’s chilly outside, spooky drinks are always in season. If you’re not a fan of cranberry juice, this drink also works great with pomegranate juice or mashed blackberries. 💀

Ingredients: tequila, cranberry juice, orange liquor, ginger beer, maple syrup, lemon juice

The Deathly Hallows recipe… if you dare.

Maple Butter Kiss

This super sweet drink is a perfect boozy dessert to follow up a Friday night meal. The maple syrup and nutmeg give it just the right kick of chilly-weather-flavours. 🍁

Ingredients: vodka, DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur or butterscotch schnapps, real maple syrup, half-and-half (or whole milk and single cream), and fresh-ground nutmeg

Recipe? Voila.
