Gourmet Fast Food: A Maltese Twist Coming Soon to FoodBlog Network 📺

It’s time to set your alarms, FoodBlog Network is back and we’re bringing you a brand spanking new series Gourmet Fast Food: A Maltese Twist with none other than the wonderfully talented Chef Stephen La Rosa. Your Thursday afternoons just got a whole lot tastier, with quick-fix episodes coming to you every fortnight to get your fast food craves sorted, the gourmet way with a Maltese twist to keep things local. 🇲🇹

Did you watch FoodBlog Network’s Marvin’s Five?

Gourmet Fast Food is a true FoodBlog Network series, taking the classic pub, diner, snack bar and munchie classics to a whole new level with a bunch of ingredients brought to life by our sponsors for the show. With local names such as Lamb Brand, Cisk and Vesuvio, Chef Stephen was able to transform killer comfort grub into a series of delicious and pretty much addictive dishes. 👨‍🍳

This series was created to bring you all your favourite fast food classics with a touch of class through Chef Stephen’s mad skill as well as his use of local ingredients. At FoodBlog we think it’s so important to #SupportLocal whenever possible, and with all the quality branded ingredients available on our shores it’s kind of a no brainer to opt for them and make use of these products! The brands that we’ve chosen to sponsor this series are known for their variety and influence in the local market, providing great produce with each of our selected ingredients. 🛒

Chef Stephen rattled his Crosscraft pans in the stunning Fino kitchen, more specifically the Essence Lounge model that is made to keep your kitchen vibes as chill and exciting as possible - while delivering all the good in functionality and design. 🍳

With his flair for creativity and culinary backing to power him through, Chef Stephen is a local Chef who we’ve been following for quite some time now. His culinary training at the Culinary Institute of America, led him to spend a fair share of his New York time at Per Se, a 3-starred Chef Thomas Keller restaurant, and his San Francisco adventure mostly in the Quince kitchen. A quick plane ride to London, set him as the Chef Tournant at Helene Darroze At The Connaught. 🤏

After a spin as the Chief Culinary Officer at the MCA, Chef Stephen set up his very own website where you can learn how to level up your cooking with tips from a Michelin-trained Chef! His Ten Minute Tuesday subscriptions are free of charge and delivered right to your inbox on a weekly basis, stocking you up with easily accomplished recipes, just like these ones here at Gourmet Fast Food. 👏

Will you be tuning in next week?

This 6-episode series will stream on FoodBlog Network, available right here on our website, as well as both of our social media channels, Facebook and Instagram. So make sure to catch Chef Stephen in all his glory every time he flips a pancake, stacks a burger or presents his locally-sourced ingredients for the dishes presented on this excitingly composed series! ⭐

And without further ado, allow us to introduce to you Gourmet Fast Food Episode 1, where Chef Stephen battles it out with a Crosscraft air fryer, a bottle or two of of the island's favourite lager, Cisk, and a few other ingredients; on a mission to create a dish loved by the Brits, perfect at the pub, or the chippy and undoubtedly one of the go-to staples after a good old bender! 🍺

Bet you can guess what he’ll be cooking up on next week’s episode airing on FoodBlog Network, Thursday 22nd at 15:00. ⏱️

What’s Chef Stephen cooking next week?

We’d like to give a special FoodBlog shoutout to our sponsors Fino, Lamb Brand, Farsons, and Crosscraft for making this series possible through their constant support. Give these awesome brands a follow to show them some love! ❤️
